Perhaps the concept of Crowbar to be not aligned with what I perceive show was overburdened with lights, light fog, and a huge screen that projects the lyrics of some songs. Seriously, I closed my eyes because it was so bright as the night wore on, the contrast was too fatiguing. (Too many chasers.)
The show is now very personal, very intimate. They were best when they were just ten guys singing in beautiful harmony (a straight drink). This is the third time I've seen Crowbar.
I'll still recommend them now for their voices, but not for the overall show. I would highly recommend them if they were just singing. Perhaps they've evolved into something I'm less interested in. (Perhaps change the name to reflect the more complicated presentation; something like "Ramos Gin Fizz".)
